GAF Senior Engineer - Koerber/Highjump in Michigan City, Indiana

Summary: We are seeking a Sr. Engineer – Koerber/HighJump who is a skilled professional, possessing a strong development and technical analysis background in enterprise-level applications. This person will possess a strong expertise in Application Development/Integration tools. This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying solutions throughout the software development life cycle.The Sr. Engineer – Koerber/HighJump is capable of working on extremely complex applications/projects and has demonstrated throughout their career as a functional expert in a particular business area and technical expert. The person is also expected to perform detailed analysis and system impact to ensure the successful delivery and support of the Koerber/HighJump application and should have worked on preferably two full implementations of Koerber/HighJump.

Essential Duties:

  • Lead the design, architecture, and support of the Koerber/HighJump application.

  • Write, code, test, and analyze the Koerber/HighJump application.

  • Perform detailed technical analysis and capable of documenting functional/technical requirements and system impact to ensure the successful delivery and support of various applications.

  • Conduct testing of programs and application integrations to ensure they will produce the desired information as per the technical and functional requirements.

  • Guides or directs work of others who may perform similar or related work. Serves as a mentor/developmental advisor and/or training resource to less experienced staff, providing an example with regard to quality of work.

  • Works with stakeholders to guide the overall Koerber/HighJump technical direction and strategy of the IT department.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Under This Roof, We Require

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related majors.

  • 5+ years of IT experience; preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business durableable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing, specifically Koerber\HighJump.

  • 10+ years’ experience in systems analysis, data analysis, design and coding with proven record of successful large scale project implementations

  • Technical Training Certification from Koerber\HighJump will be a plus

  • HighJump Warehouse Advantage and Koerber one

  • HighJump Page Editor

  • HighJump Architect

  • Functional knowledge of Koerber/HighJump modules

  • Proficient in writing SQL scripts and stored procedures

  • Experience in maintaining and creating reports using SSRS

  • Ability to develop inbound and outbound interfaces

  • Database technology: MS SQL Server 2012+ Experience designing and managing Koerber/HighJump workflows

  • Koerber/HighJump security experience, application user accounts and AD integration

  • Experience customizing screens, creating custom applications and database changes

  • Experience validating patches to Koerber/HighJump and supporting software

  • Experience with Bartender label printing and/or MuleSoft is a plus

  • Experience with SAP ERP for integration is a plus

  • Knowledge of Information Security Awareness

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Advanced problem solving skills

  • Ability to work on multiple complex assignments as a team member and team leader

  • Solid understanding and proven track record leveraging industry best practices and standards, ITIL, Agile and DevOps

  • Strong collaborative skills to work across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Ability to effectively communicate and report to different levels within and outside the IT Organization

  • Strong Vendor Management Skills

Annual Salary Range: 139,500-178,250
