Function Overview

GAF is seeking a SAP Business Analyst with IBP Plan to Make expierence that will have the responsibility for eliciting business needs, performing detailed analysis and documentation, modeling processes, evaluating impacts, prioritizing business requests, and partnering with the project teams to ensure the successful delivery and sustainment of a an integrated IBP solution that supports GAF supply chain.

Essential Duties

  • Solve complex business problems utilizing business process redesign and cloud computing technologies

  • Assess AS-IS processes and develop new processes and/or business flows.

  • Consult with data engineering team and functional unit owners and document a gap analysis of capabilities, requirements and needs against technology

  • Apply business process re-engineering methodologies for systems modernization

  • Develops new standard operating procedures documentation aligned with business requirements.

  • Prepare and present findings, recommendations, new operating models, and new workflows in consultation with the business team.

  • Creates methodology to measure process performance against established metrics

  • Responsible for completing assignments with the ability to work on 1-3 projects

  • Understanding the business needs and requests, identifying solutions, gathering information, and translating business needs into documented artifacts that are understandable to business and IT personnel alike

  • Work with the business users to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s), improve efficiency in operations and overall performance

  • Accountable to review deliverables and to assure they meet the business requirements developed during the earlier phases. Be able to demonstrate the capability of the deliverable and consume and action feedback.

  • Collaborate with project teams and business partners during project planning, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been delivered based on the specifications.

Under This Roof, We Require

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related majors.

  • 10+ years of IT experience; preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business durableable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing.

  • 10+ years’ experience in systems analysis and design

  • 3+ years SAP experience preferable within the Make To Delivery business function and with SAP’s IBP.

  • 3+ year experience with advanced planning systems

Under This Roof, We Also Value

  • Experience with ERP implementation and transformation projects, Peoplesoft to SAP or equivalent.

  • Experience with the Plan-To-Make process in SAP

  • Experience in advanced planning systems and integration to business critical supply chain capability

  • Strong implementation and support experience with SAP IBP

  • Design and developing integrated business solutions that interact between multiple enterprise platforms and applications, both on-premises, CSP’s and SaaS providers.

  • Prior experience providing design and configuration of integration solutions in support of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and planning systems.

  • General knowledge of Agile and SDLC software development practices and technical documentation (requirements, functional specifications, test plans, etc.)

  • Strong strategic business acumen and understanding of organizational strategy and ability to design IT systems to deliver that strategy

  • Strong ability to define multiple solution options to business problems

  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

  • Strong ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations

  • Be a change agent
