Job Description:

The GAF Steep Slope Marketing team is expanding and searching for a team-oriented, problem-solver to lead key business projects. This Project Manager role has end-to-end accountability for the successful delivery of projects, products, and key initiatives. This highly visible role will drive cross-functional teams (Operations, R&D, Finance, and Marketing) to achieve business outcomes and interface with all levels of management, including executive leadership.

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead, plan, manage and successfully deliver multiple

product-based projects concurrently. Projects will vary in size and complexity. This role is an exciting

● 70% - Project Management - Plan, manage and deliver Marketing projects. This includes directing and overseeing multiple project teams members’ work in accordance with GAF’s latest New Product Development guidelines, the managing of cross-functional teams and associated information flow,

identification and escalation of issues that could cause variance from the project plan, and

periodic communication with team members as well as senior management. Management of

various types of project implementations includes modifications to the existing GAF product line,

the development of new residential roofing products, and the introduction of new manufacturing

processes and/or technologies.

● 20% - Project Communication - Facilitates and delivers executive updates, governance meetings, project status meetings, project status reports, communication plans, etc.

● 10% - Process Development - Support the Business Optimization and Agility team’s implementation of the GAF Project Methodology Playbook by utilizing its framework when managing projects and collaborating with the BOA team on future iterations.

● A Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Science discipline. Business degrees with strong technical experience are also encouraged to apply.

● 4+ years of related project/program management work experience (managing the development of

tangible products from concept through fabrication and launch).

● PMP Certification is preferred but not required.

● Scrum or comparable Agile Certification is preferred but not required.

● Strong skills in Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) are preferred but not required.

● Budget Responsibility: Project focused only

● Travel Requirements: 10%
