Team or Function Overview

The right candidate will help to optimize the use of maintenance resources to effectively plan and coordinate a predictive and preventative maintenance program (including the labor type and quantity). Located in the Central Valley, the Stockton, CA facility supports the production of high-quality asphaltic rolls.

Summary

The Maintenance Planner plans the use of materials, tools, and work procedures for repairs, alterations, and preventative maintenance for production and all support equipment. The position is responsible for the short and long term scheduling of all maintenance activities including maintaining storeroom organization and inventory levels. Responsible for balancing priorities, manpower, material, and equipment availability to develop department and individual work schedules.

Essential Duties

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Works with Supervisor to prepare daily work schedules for Maintenance Technicians. Lead the scheduling of down days and non-down days.

  • MaintainStoreroomInventory

  • Manage and maintain the Work Flow process (work identifications, planning, scheduling, execution, and auditing.

  • Supervise contractors and fill in as Maintenance Supervisor as necessary 10% Develop detailed job plans including the labor (type and quantity), materials, tools, work procedures for repairs, alterations, and preventative maintenance to facilities and equipment to meet the objectives of the work request

  • Set-up and maintain any Preventative Maintenance work order established in Maximo. 5% Accounts Receivable for purchase requests of stocked parts and inventory.5%Responsiblefordevelopingcostestimates,trackingspendingvs. budget, and performance KPI’s for Maintenance.

  • Maximo Systems Administration including providing plant support and training, updating equipment hierarchies, PM generation, and Generates performance reports.

  • Supporting Maintenance Technicians and other duties as needed.

  • Assuring all activities are performed safely

  • Intermediate knowledge of mechanical hydraulics and pneumatic systems.

  • Entry level electronics and instrumentation and electrical principles.

  • Computer software and personal computers are required.

  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to work under limited supervision

  • Excellent organization and scheduling skills

  • Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization

Hourly Rate: 38.00
